Vancouver-based artist Tiffany Blaise creates expressionistic contemporary landscape paintings. In her practice, Tiffany explores themes of movement and transformation through reinterpreting subjects, such as dramatic coastlines and swirling skies. Her mixed-media artworks capture the atmosphere and emotive quality of coastal landscapes across the west coast and beyond, uniting the physical landscape with the world of the mind.

“My art practice is a journey rooted in the exploration of thoughts and nature. I want to portray the connection between our inner nature and the landscape that surrounds us.” Tiffany sources imagery of dramatic landscapes and seascapes while adventuring around British Columbia and abroad. She aims to help people surround themselves with uplifting artwork that connects them to nature and presents an opportunity for contemplation.

Tiffany’s latest exhibition, Water and Wind, continues her exploration of coastal landscapes across Tofino  and beyond. This series of colourful and atmospheric seascapes contains an ethereal, dream-like quality, inviting viewers to travel to unknown realms of colour and light.
